Filed under: Deals and Bargains ![]() It's time to page through the weekly retail adds to uncover a few special Xbox 360 deals. And just in case you forgot, all Xbox 360 consoles have seen a price cut where Arcades are $199, 60GB Pros are $299 and 120GB Elites are $399. If you're going to take advantage of the new price cut, we advise heading over to Circuit City where they'll toss in a free 1600 Microsoft point card with any console purchase. They're also selling GRAW2, Saints Row and Dead Rising for $15 and giving away a free tshirt and $10 gift card with the purchase of Force Unleashed. Sadly, neither Best Buy or Target have any 360 deals worth mentioning. Then again, who needs 'em anyway? Happy spending!

My time in Seattle comes to a close. I rest this evening in the house of Khoo and then return to Dallas early in the morning. It has been a productive visit on so many levels. Think of my relationship with the Arcadians as a clay sculpture that, over the years, is continually spun and [...] |

There is fresh evidence that people spend less when paying cash than using credit, cash-equivalent scrip or gift certificates. They also spend less when they have to estimate expenses in detail. |

A new study suggests women with newly-diagnosed breast cancer who receive an MRI after their diagnosis face delays in starting treatment and are more likely to receive a mastectomy. The study, presented today at the 2008 ASCO Breast Cancer Symposium, also shows that despite lack of evidence of their benefit, the routine use of MRI scans in women newly diagnosed increased significantly between 2004 and 2005, and again in 2006. |

![]() As part of their Weekly Update, Bungie has finally addressed the Halo 3 achievements rumor that sprung up during PAX, confirming that 10 new achievements worth an additional 250 Gamerscore will be added to Halo 3 as part of the (newly delayed) September 25th title update. Achievements that are mostly related to the Legendary map pack and a few 0 Gamerscore achievements that are "Vidmaster Challenges". Check the break for the complete list.
BUT there's one glaring mystery that isn't fully addressed, and that's the other mysterious H3 achievements that were photographed during PAX. In their update, Bungie does admit the 10 title update achievements "aren't the only achievements we're adding" but that "there's not a whole lot else we're going to say" regarding the other achievement content. Sneaky. Suspicious. Juicy. So, we are guaranteed to get an additional 250 Gamerscore and 10 achievements for Halo 3 later this month, but we're still clueless to when or how Assembly will release, what all that Mythic talk was and why we can't haz Recon. Too many questions and absolutely zero answers. Continue reading Bungie: New H3 achievements part of title update
